United House Assoc Mission is to aid Families, Students and Individuals in Chicago and the surrounding areas with assistance and resources to find solutions in obtaining Safe Stable Housing, Academic Support, Steady Employment, and Strive For A Better Life.
United House Assoc (UHA) was founded out of sympathy and consideration for youth dealing with violence in Chicago. United House Assoc established a Community Assistance Group for low-income, latch-key kids to have a safe place for tutoring, social activities and a Hot meal. However, we quickly realized the need for additional services and resources regarding Violence Prevention and Emergency Assistance for Families, Students and Homeless Individuals living on the streets. Over the years, we gradually added services and resources to help with obtaining Safe Housing, Financial Responsibility, Steady Employment, and Academic Support for Homeless and Displaced Students. We also partnered with other organizations to provide additional assistance and services.
United House Assoc goes above and beyond to aid Families in securing Safe and Stable Housing as quickly as possible. We also provide assistance and resources to prevent Families from becoming Homeless or Displaced.
